MISSION
To empower sexual assault survivors though the establishment of safe environments for support, advocacy and creative expression.
Advocacy:
Using a multidisciplinary approach, we work to address the root causes of sexual violence by dismantling stereotypes and erodingcultural attitudes and practices that perpetuates the culture of sexual violence through the use of awareness campaigns, educational resources and collaboration, as well as utilizing the legislative process to ensure the criminal justice system, medical community and advocacy groups have the tools and funding required to provide appropriate compassionate care, to properly investigate and prosecute sexual violence crimes, and to support survivors and their families with the mental health, addiction and other supportive services needed.
Empowerment:
By providing space, training and resources, we work to provide
survivors the tools and opportunities to find their voice, speak
their truth and support other survivors through activism and creativity.
Our Services
Silent No Longer Tennessee is here to consult and assist groups, organizations and businesses in creating awareness events and customized training curriculum. We also offer pre-designed training courses in Bystander Intervention and Sexual Harassment, as well as providing technical assistance, guest speakers, survivor panels and facilitation services. We take great pains to simplify subjects and have a reputation for making people feel at ease when discussing difficult
topics such as sexual violence. We do not limit ourselves to large groups however. We also assist survivors of sexual assault in finding their voice and feeling empowered. Whether it is assisting with resources and training in public speaking or media relations, or watching as a survivor feels inspired to share their story during an event, we have helped clients become more self assured, articulate and courageous.
Silent No Longer Tennessee is proud to provide creative outlets for survivors of sexual assault as well. We host events such as Poetry and Spoken Word Night, virtual empowerment concerts, creative writing events and much more.

Events
Our work assisting a variety of clients with event planning has given us the skillset and know-how to approach plan and organize your event with professionalism and expertise. Whether your event is large or small, we will make sure every detail is covered.
1. Identify appropriate venue locations, speakers/entertainers and vendors (food & merchandise, security, sound system/engineers, etc.)
2. Obtain required permits
3. Equipment rental (tables, chairs, tents, etc.)
4. Provide technical assistance with themes, agenda/schedule, speakers, panels, facilitation, powerpoint design, customized training/outreach materials, etc.
